The Single Ply Roofing Association (SPRA) is accepting applications for the next SPRA Specialist Apprenticeship Programme (SAP).
Open to a maximum of eight apprentices, the scheme offers an introduction to basic roofing skills and safety, followed by intensive training on installation techniques associated with single ply roofing systems.
Delivered in five weekly modules over an 18-month period, the programme is designed to allow trainees to return to their employers at regular intervals with new skills they can immediately put to use.
The programme includes a SPRA manufacturers training course at the end of the formal training, and there are also two extra ?bolt on’ options for solar and green roof preparation.
The training is fully supported by a grant from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and SPRA members receive an additional 10% discount of œ576.
