Eurosafe Solutions has reported the success of its free harness and lanyard training session, held at its purpose built training centre in Sheffield recently.
The course, which was attended by 12 professionals from a variety of roles including roofing contractors, builders and maintenance, covered both harness and lanyard training and provided delegates with the knowledge required to choose the right harness, fit it correctly and wear it safely.
The half-day course also gave contracts and maintenance staff an overview of relevant health and safety laws and regulations surrounding harnesses, as well as the chance to achieve recognised harness training certification valid for a three year period.
Eurosafe Solutions has since secured several additional bookings across its range of training courses.
Andy Jennings, training manager at Eurosafe Solutions, said: “The training session was a great opportunity for attendees to see our world-class training centre, as well as gain a recognised certificate for an approved harness and lanyard course. We had some great feedback to our training centre, with many delegates saying they didn’t realise it was so well equipped and we look forward to hosting more events of this type in the future.”
Eurosafe Solutions’ dedicated training suite opened 18 months ago and includes a number of indoor roofing rigs where practical demonstrations and assessments take place for the safe use of fall protection systems.
