The National Insulation Association (NIA) has announced that Dr Peter Bonfield, OBE FREng, chief executive of the BRE Group and leader of the Bonfield Review is to give a keynote address to delegates at this year’s Annual Conference, on Thursday December 3, 2015, at the Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicestershire.
Neil Marshall, chief executive of the NIA commented: “Earlier this year, Government commissioned an independent review, led by Dr Peter Bonfield, to look at standards and consumer protection in the energy efficiency industry which the NIA is feeding into. We are therefore delighted to have Peter on board for our conference to update on progress with the review and obtain the views of delegates.”
Peter added: “I’m pleased to take part in this very timely conference. We are now half way through this review and the evidence gathered from consumers, manufacturers, installers, regulators and others has been very insightful. I look forward to sharing what I’ve learnt with NIA members who have a critical role to play.”
