Filon Products has appointed Mark Wilcox as managing director in a management buyout (MBO), who will be replacing Steve Vickers who is stepping down from his position but will stay with the company to focus his efforts on the technical department.
Mark will be accompanied by his board of directors consisting of Craig Bainbridge, as operations director and Laura Francis as financial director.
Commenting on the development, Mark said: “The MBO is a natural step for us and falls in line with our succession plans. We’re fortunate to have been able to use the same legal and accountancy firms as in the previous MBOs and enjoyed crucial support from HSBC and all the necessary finance is in place so we can continue with the same excellent service levels our customers rely on. It’s pretty much business as usual.”
