General Building (GB) Plastics has begun to celebrate its 25th anniversary by giving away a brand new 3D widescreen TV to one of its customers as part of a grand prize draw marking the company’s milestone year.
Mark Hewitt of property maintenance business Elite Services picked up the prize from Wendy Hill, director for GB Plastics, at the company’s head office in Rugeley.
Mr. Hewitt said: “I never win anything and when GB Plastics’ Wendy Hill rang to tell me I had won the main prize in their 25th anniversary promotion, I thought she was joking! I am absolutely thrilled to have won.”
Founded in 1990, GB Plastics is a second generation family business and to mark its historic milestone, the company last month ran a number of in-branch anniversary-themed promotions for its customers, with a top prize in the scratch card prize draw competition of a 42 inch 3D television.
Wendy Hill said: “We wouldn’t be celebrating 25 years in business without the support of our customers and the prize draw has been our way of saying thank you for their loyalty and support – many of our customers have traded with us for over twenty years.
“I am delighted this great prize has been won by Mark and Elite Services – especially as he was really disappointed not to have won one of our limited edition 25th anniversary hoodies on the scratch cards. I hope the TV makes up for it!”
