Holcim has acquired German-based roofing membrane manufacturer Flachdach Technologie GmbH (FDT).
The acquisition will see FDT join Elevate under Holcim’s business envelope division, expanding its product range for the roofing industry.
The deal follows Holcim’s acquisition of Firestone Building Products in 2021, which now operates under the Elevate brand.
Philip Moors, managing director of Elevate UK and Ireland, commented: “FDT offers a range of innovative products for flat roofs, which complement the leading EPDM and TPO membranes manufactured by Holcim. These synergies will provide our customers with a complete choice of solutions offering high-performance waterproofing for applications across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors.”
