The Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG) has appointed Danny Spokes as the managing director for its South West build division, heralding the restructure of the operation to align with the wider structure of the Group.
IBMG’s South West division incorporates CRS’s 13 builders merchant branches in Somerset as well as RGB’s 22-branch network across Devon and Cornwall, both of which acquired by the Group in 2022.
With Danny taking the helm in the South West, Toby Constable will continue to lead IBMG’s build division in the South East, with Mat Miller in the North.
Prior to this appointment, Danny was the managing director of IBMG’s roofing division where he has overseen its development to become the third largest roofing merchant in the country.
