Marley supports the British Skin Foundation with its Safe in the Sun campaign

Amid another heatwave this month, Marley is reminding roofers of the importance of its ‘Safe in the Sun’ campaign, whilst supporting the British Skin Foundation.

For every Safe in the Sun kit requested from its website, Marley will donate £1 to the British Skin Foundation.

Daniel Redfern, marketing manager at Marley, said: “With our Safe in the Sun campaign, we aim to provide useful, no-nonsense advice to make sure all our customers are aware of the potential risks, and are properly protected.

“We encourage roofers to cover up, use sunscreen and stay hydrated with the help of our Safe in the Sun kit, featuring a Marley-branded T shirt, sunscreen and water bottle – everything you need to stay safe.”

Lisa Bickerstaffe, a spokesperson from the British Skin Foundation, said: “It’s vital that outdoor workers, such as roofing contractors, take appropriate sun safety precautions to protect against potentially deadly skin cancers in later life. We’re pleased to see Marley taking this issue seriously and providing advice with its Safe in the Sun campaign, and are very grateful for its generous support of our work.”
