MKM Redruth has opened in South Crofty Business Park, Kerrier Way to serve both tradespeople and the public across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and brings 17 jobs to the area.
To officially open the branch, MKM invited Johnny Cowling, the local Pirate FM DJ, along with representatives from Redruth Rugby Club, to help cut the ceremonial ribbon with patrons from The Heartlands Trust, which the merchant has pledged support to, also joined in the festivities on the day.
Mike Richards, co-branch director at MKM Redruth, commented: “It is important we give back to the region in as many ways as we can. That’s why we have pledged our support to The Heartlands Trust – a fantastic charity and family friendly visitor attraction that embodies Cornish culture.
“We were delighted that patrons from the charity were able to join us on our official opening day and we look forward to working closely with Heartlands and other local charities, moving forward.”
Tim Bowden, co-branch director at MKM Redruth, said: “MKM’s ethos is all about raising the bar when it comes to customer service and doing this in a friendly and welcoming environment.
“Ultimately, this means providing the right products, at the right price, when our customers need them.”
