RAM looks to RICS accreditation to stand out from the crowd

ramRAM Consultancy has gained accreditation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This means the building envelope consultant and leak detection organisation is now regulated by the independent body, which is committed to setting and upholding high standards of excellence in land property and construction.

Peter Henrickson, chief executive of RAM Consultancy, said:
“We understand the professionalism required by chartered building surveyors and what the RICS standards can bring to our industry as a whole.

“RAM Consultancy are proud to be regulated by RICS. This ensures we are abiding by an independent authority’s regulations, rules and guidelines. It’s important to our clients and it’s even more important to us.”

Paul Franklin, RAM’s technical manager, added:
“Trust, professionalism and transparency are important factors that should not be overlooked – being regulated by RICS is one way of ensuring we achieve this.”

The RICS accreditation is in addition to others that the company already holds, and RAM says it understands the importance of regulations in the roofing and cladding industry.

Mr. Henrickson concluded:
“There are too few meaningful standards for this highly specialist sector, making it difficult for clients to assess reliability. RICS helps to provide that assurance.”
