West Fraser has partnered up with Youth Employment UK, a social enterprise which offers young people skills and career support to help tackle youth unemployment.
The organisation strives to present young people between the ages of 14 and 24 with opportunities to explore education and training options and connects them with youth-friendly employers.
Now, Youth Employment UK has installed a dedicated West Fraser page on its website, where young people can read about the current West Fraser graduate trainees and explore vacancies at its sites in South Molton, Cowie and Inverness.
There are also details of summer internships and placements, apprenticeships and graduate jobs.
This comes as the industry currently experiences a skills shortage and looks to supplement an aging workforce.
