The Pitched Roofing Awards 2024 returned with the most guests we’ve had, with over 300 attendees celebrating the excellence and innovation in pitched roofing at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.
Now in its seventh year, the awards, founded by RCI magazine, are proudly independent, and celebrate the achievements of roofing contractors, manufacturers and suppliers who demonstrate an outstanding level of technical ability and an excellent quality of workmanship.
Eleven champions were crowned at the well-attended ceremony on Friday 22 November, which was hosted by comedian Hal Cruttenden.
All the finalists announced on the day were judged by a panel of industry experts, who assessed each entry solely on the merits in front of them. A huge thank you to Craig Fyall, Paul Hattee, Nick King, Danny Madden, Richard Miller, Matt Neary and Stuart Nicholson for carving out time to assess entries and agree our shortlist and winners. We couldn’t have done this without you.
“Congratulations to all our winners and highly commended entries,” said Gabriel Day, editor of RCI. “Your hard work and dedication have shown that, despite challenging circumstances, excellence can be attained.
“Every submission we received for the 2024 awards demonstrates the effort teams from across the roofing industry have put in to grow and put their organisation in the frame.
“While not everyone was able to win a trophy, you should all be immensely proud of your achievements. Thank you for sharing your projects with us.”
If you were unsuccessful at the 2024 awards, please don’t be deterred from entering the 2025 awards. We’ll soon be opening entries for the Pitched Roofing Awards, so do keep an eye out on the awards website at www.pitchedroofingawards.co.uk, read our magazine, and follow us on social media for further updates as they are announced.
We look forward to hearing what your team has accomplished over the course of this challenging year, so start thinking about your nomination now!
