The first webinar from the Women in Roofing (WinR) group will be taking place on Thursday 11 June, 2020 at 3pm for one hour.
‘Planning for the new normal: Site rules, communication, and collaboration’ will focus on discussions around operations management and planning post lockdown, building business resilience and the challenges post lockdown. It will explore the following issues:
- New site safety rules (CIC/Build UK guidance) and what employers have had to put in place to meet these safety measures and how they are managing this
- The Roadmap to Recovery document that has been published by the Construction Leadership Council and how it will work specifically for the roofing industry
- Providing an update on NFRC advice and guidance
- Encouraging collaboration across the sector and sharing best practice.
The panellist will include Kate Whatley, commercial director at SPV who will lead the webinar, Kevin Parr from PGS Team who will chair the discussion, Peter Hendrickson, chief executive officer of RAM Consultancy, Mark Mitchell, chief executive officer of Jarvis & Womack, and John Newcomb, chief executive officer of the Builders Merchants Federation.
