Actis has made a number of new appointments in response to increased sales across the UK for its range of Hybrid insulation products.
Among the five new members to the Actis sales team is former rugby player Bonnie Longdon, who has been appointed to the position of area sales manager for the South of England. Actis says her background in estate agency puts Ms. Longdon in an excellent position to understand the benefits of creating energy efficient homes, from both a consumer and property market viewpoint.
Commenting on her appointment, Bonnie said: “It is refreshing to work for a company whose products are so highly spoken of with its existing customers. Every builder and contractor I have encountered has loved working with the materials.”
Increasing sales in the South West have previously split the region in two, and Dan Anson-Hart has taken up the role of area sales manager for Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset. Long established sales manager Andy Joyce will concentrate on the south Central area – Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, and Hampshire.
Mr. Anson-Hart will work closely with distributors Minster, SIG and Encon to help their builders and roofing merchants promote, specify and sell Actis products. He said: “I want to make Actis a recognised brand within my region. I aspire to have the vast majority of merchants stocking and selling the Hybrid range confidently and consistently. I can see Actis growing bigger and stronger with each year.”
Sean Mahoney has taken on the role of area sales manager for the North West, where he will use his past experience working for America’s largest insulation manufacturer, Johns Manville.
Mr. Mahoney said: “Actis is perfectly positioned to lead the charge in sustainable development with its innovative building products for the 21st century’s intuitive building designs.”
In addition to these new appointments, Margy Thomas and Sammy Bolton will work in internal sales, liaising with the external team as well as new and existing customers.
