Plytech has announced the appointment of Simon Bonney as its technical director.
Importers and main distributors for Rubberall EPDM membrane and manufacturers of the original and flat roof edging system Quicktrim, Plytech has recently been appointed as UK distributor for FiberTite commercial roofing products.
Marc King, managing director at Plytech, said: “The addition of FiberTite products to our range means we now offer a comprehensive range of solutions to suit any kind of flat roofing project, and we are pleased to welcome Simon to our team to assist us with the growth of FiberTite single ply membranes in the UK market.”
Simon has almost 30 years’ experience in the single ply and flat roofing industry, gained as a fully-trained flat roofer, including large commercial projects, managing commercial and residential contracts, and also working on the other side of the counter in senior roles for roofing merchants.
He will be available to offer customers advice and guidance on choosing the best single-ply or flat roofing solution for any projects, whether commercial or domestic. Simon will also be assisting Plytech’s growing network of approved FiberTite installers to win contracts and to ensure a high-quality finish is achieved for building owners.
