Roof Maker has launched a brand-new range of energy efficient made to measure pitched roof lights with a minimalist low-profile appearance.
Based on Roof Maker’s award winning LuxliteÔ range, the unvented SheerLux rooflight sits flush or slightly lower than the surface of a pitched roof (depending on the thickness of rooftiles), creating an uninterrupted roofline suitable for newbuild, retrofit and some heritage projects. As they are all made to measure, in sizes from 0.4m to 2m wide, they can match the frame sizes of the existing rooflights making them a practical and easy to install replacement.
When viewed from the inside of a property, SheerLux has an attractive frameless appearance, increasing the internal glazed area and giving the end user an excellent source of natural light.
The improved thermal efficiency of these triple glazed units delivers whole product U-values of 0.6w/m2k (calculated for 1m x 1m product), which can help lower a home’s carbon footprint and energy costs, whilst Roof Maker’s easy clean glass, supplied as standard, helps to keep the rooflight looking clean and bright.
Suitable for roof pitches between 16 and 75 degrees, SheerLux is constructed from durable marine grade aluminium powder coated frames and incorporates the company’s innovative built-in flashing apron, which improves weather resistance by allowing the rainwater to disperse and enables quick and easy installation.
Designed for flexibility, SheerLux can be tailored to suit customer requirements with a range of additional specialist tinted glazing options, blinds and colours to choose from.
As with all Roof Maker products, SheerLux comes with a 20-year unit seal warranty – one of the longest in the industry.
