After a successful 2018 conference, which saw over 100 industry professionals attending, the fifth annual Women in Roofing Conference 2019 is being held at the Vox Conference centre, Resort World, Birmingham on June 24, 2019.
This year’s theme is choosing change.
This reflects the changes made to the format and content of the conference, which this year is being professionally organised and facilitated with a greater focus on networking and substantive learning opportunities for delegates, whilst still celebrating the commitment, contribution and enthusiasm that women bring to our industry.
Women in Roofing says it is delighted to be sponsored by, and have contributions from, a wide range of industry individuals, organisations and businesses which is indicative of the growing support for our activities and initiatives.
The industry continues to face many challenges and the 2019 conference will look at the most relevant and pressing of these and offer focused interactive sessions and workshops, inspiring keynote speakers, a look at best practice case studies and hear from people who are challenging the norm.
The event will ensure attendees are empowered and educated with the right tools to enable positive change in their organisations.
The conference will include a variety of keynote speakers, panel discussions and workshops catering to all professional levels
Be part of an inspirational panel discussion considering “What changes do we want to see in our industry?” This will be a facilitated audience and panel discussion with audience participation through an electronic questioning system.
We will be offering a number of interactive sessions for attendees to sign up to attend on the day including changing attitudes (industry promotions), changing culture (developing people), changing lives (promoting resilience), changing buildings (case study), changing specifications, making changes (funding research), changing fortunes and a showcase of product innovation.
Join a friendly community of people working in the roofing industry to share best practice, broaden your connections, create relationships and opportunities. Women in Roofing says it will be offering more networking opportunities than ever before – particularly during the evening event, which it encourages all attendees to stay on for.
After the success of last year’s Women in Roofing Awards we will be offering three new categories as follows:
