The National Association of Rooflight Manufacturers (NARM) has appointed Scott Leeder as chairman, following a vote at the association’s recent AGM.
Scott, who brings his experience as market director and sales director of NARM member companies VELUX and Glazing Vision respectively, commented: “Looking around me at NARM meetings, it’s apparent that many people, once they become part of the rooflight industry, tend to stay with it throughout their careers.
“Speaking from my own experience, this is because being part of a community that exists to deliver a sustainable and life-enhancing product is extremely rewarding. I have two young children who are, like many of their same age, very engaged with the sustainability agenda. I’m keen to explore the potential of future generations who can benefit from a career in this industry and I believe that NARM can support ways to achieve this.”
