Northern Building Plastics (NBP) has opened a new 33,000ft2 depot in Birtley, providing builders, roofers and window fitters across the Northeast access to a plethora of building products, and further strengthening its free next day delivery service.
The new depot holds more than £1 million of stock, including fascias, soffits, rainwater goods, lightweight roofing, composite decking, window trims and more.
Commenting on the development, Jono Green, managing director of NBP, said: “Customers always tell us how much they love our speedy and reliable delivery service, and the location of our new Birtley Depot will allow us to expand this to even more companies.
“Our delivery service is part of our unique business proposal. We keep high levels of stock and have a fleet of 65 vehicles across our four depots, enabling us to deliver products direct to site next day, completely free of charge, with no minimum order value.
“We already have many happy customers in the Northeast who have benefitted from using our Leeds depot, and the demand for our products and service in the region has been growing. The dedicated Birtley depot will now allow us to strengthen our service in this area.”
