Industrial Paint Supplies (Hull), part of the New Guard Coatings Group, has opened a new premise, following rapid growth in sales over recent years.
Outgrowing its premises on Lincoln Street in Hull, Industrial Paint Supplies’ first day of trading at the new Hedon Road site was on February 4, 2019.
The new premise has enabled the company’s stock holding to increase by more than five times, to 8,000sq. ft. This not only means a greater range of products for local customers, but also faster delivery times and more support for its nationwide clients too.
State-of-the-art training and presentation facilities are also featured, which will allow a number of technical and training courses to be held. To further support its clients, four tinting machines will be housed at the new site.
Speaking about the move, Calum Doig, operations director for New Guard Coatings Group, said: “This is an exciting time for New Guard Coatings Group with our expansion plan now in full swing. We’ve been at our current premises on Lincoln Street for a number of years now, which we have out-grown. The move to Hedon Road could not have come at a better time.”
Calum continued: “With the additional floor space to increase our stock holding capabilities, the relocation creates a fantastic opportunity for both IPS and the whole of the New Guard Coatings Group as we continue to set the standard in the distribution of protective coatings industry.”
