One of the senior managers at pitched roof tile manufacturer Russell Roof Tiles is celebrating a major milestone.
After he first joined as a graduate trainee manager, Alan Young (40) regional sales director – based at Russell Roof Tiles Lochmaben site, is now celebrating 15 years with the firm.
Over the years Alan’s roles have included sales executive in the North West, area manager for Scotland and North East England, he then became regional sales manager for Scotland and North England, before finally being promoted to regional sales director for the same region in 2016.
Reflecting on the past 15 years, Alan said: “The people at Russell Roof Tiles are what makes the business. Everyone works as a team. Everyone works hard, but it is rewarding – not just monetary, also recognition where it is due and good to see results from that hard work too.”
In recognition of his long service Alan was presented with an award by Andrew Hayward.
Andrew Hayward, managing director at Russell Roof Tiles, added: “Alan is a fantastic member of the team and a real asset to the business and we’re delighted that he’s achieved his long service award – the first of many we hope.”
