Arbor Forest Products has appointed Phil Yell as its new operations manager as it continues to invest in its workforce.
Mr. Yell has taken charge of the day-to-day running of Arbor’s sawmill facility in New Holland, as well as the MDF mill, the storage yard, and the company’s logistics department.
Having come from a role as operations manager at washing service specialists Safetykleen UK, Arbor says Mr. Yell brings with him a wealth of experience in managing the operations of an international business.
Part of his new role at Arbor will be to roll out a new training initiative that engenders the principles of continuous improvement throughout the company and helps staff to solve everyday production and logistic issues.
Commenting on his appointment, Phil Yell said: “I am delighted to join such a well-respected and established, family-run company.
