As part of its expansion into the cladding market, external wall insulation and render provider SPSenvirowall has appointed a new technical specifications manager to drive forward its new rainscreen cladding division.
Gavin Ross is tasked with heading up the new division and introducing its A1 non-combustible and bomb blast-rated cladding systems to the UK for the first time. SPSenvirowall announced its exclusive UK partnership with specialist cladding manufacturer Dynamic Cladding last month.
Gavin commented: “A major part of my role with SPSenvirowall is to work alongside architects, contractors and installers, supporting them with the right specification, technical detailing and cladding products for their projects, assisting the process from project conception to on site completion.
“Dynamic Cladding’s glass, stone and 3D stone rainscreen cladding, which are only available through SPSenvirowall in the UK, are unique in this market place and they open up a lot of exciting, new opportunities to future proof projects.
“They are some of the highest safety rated cladding products in the world and this, combined with the lightweight, flexible glass and stone materials used provides opportunities for higher level specification and so many more different kinds of application.
“I’m looking forward to introducing the products for the first time and seeing the difference they make to projects across the UK.”
Paul Winwood, managing director of SPSenvirowall, added: “Moving into the cladding sector is something the business has been working towards for many years. We have now become a whole solution for architects and developers who want to bring all aspects of a project together under one supplier, combining external wall insulation, render and cladding.
“Having Gavin lead the cladding team with his specific expertise in specification is a big boost to the new division and the company as a whole.”
