The SIGnature bituminous torch-on roofing system is now exclusively available through SIG Design & Technology. To support roofers and specifiers across the UK, the business has appointed two new members of staff.
Ian Dryden is the new national specification manager for the product range and Daniel Campbell is working alongside Ian to cover the southern half of England.
The SIGnature roofing system is designed for new work or overlays and comprises fire rated torch-on cap sheet, underlay and vapour control layer. It is suitable for warm or cold roofs.
SIG Design & Technology’s trading director, Mike Crook said: “Adding this well established and proven product range has enabled us to offer a bituminous solution to our customer base. As part of our #PerfectRoof service, we can now recommend design, supply and guarantee a torch-on solution if it’s the optimum system for an individual roof.
“We are also recruiting experienced BUR installers to join our Design and Technology Accredited Installers group (DATACs) for SIGnature projects.”
There are three underlay options with the potential for either 20 or 25 year warrantees;
- SIGnature Underlay25 with polyester carrier carries a twenty-five-year warranty when used with the SIGnature Fire Rated Cap Sheet.
- SIGnature Underlay20 with glass tissue carrier, carries a twenty-year warranty when used with the SIGnature Fire Rated Cap Sheet.
- SIGnature Underlay SA is an elastomeric self-adhesive, polyester fabric reinforced underlay, coated with SBS modified bitumen and carries a twenty-five-year warranty when used with the SIGnature Fire Rated Cap Sheet.
