The 200-page ‘Lead Sheet in Roofing: The Ultimate Guide to Best Practice’ provides an essential guide for architects, designers, roofers and historic property owners on all aspects of the use of lead sheet in roofing construction.

Fixfast has launched Skills Hub, a free online resource that aims to give contractors and installers access to the information they need when they need it – when they are on-site.

SPRA has devised a set of online Wind Load Calculation Protocol sessions to assist in developing consistency and accuracy in wind load calculation. 

The Institute of Roofing Associate Course has achieved a third-party accreditation from the Awarding Body of the Built Environment. The interactive training has been accredited to ABBE Level 3.

This year’s BMI Apprentice of the Year competition opens on 1 September and welcomes all those recognised as an apprentice by their employer, or those working towards qualified status.

The free technical downloads include ‘Guidance Note 14: Best Practice for the Installation of Water Flow Reducing Layers’ and ‘Guidance Note 15: Clarification of BS 6229:2018’, regarding the thermal performance of inverted roofs and blue roofs.
